Ultimate in high technology, superior clarity and performance. 3M Crystalline features a proprietary, multilayer optical film technology that combines over 200 layers in a film. This unique technology is the reason a clear film can reject more heat than darker films, without changing your car's appearance. Solar heat comes from two primary sources, the visible light you can see and the infrared light you can feel. Crystalline rejects up to 97% of the sun's heat producing infrared light and block up to 62% of the heat coming through your windows. These spectrally-selective films are designed to keep you cool, comfortable and protected. Because these films are non-metalized, you can be assured of zero interference with your GPS or cell phone signals.
Ceramic IR is the second highest quality window tint film. Ceramic IR film has only recently appeared on the market, but has already proven its worh in terms of performance, reliability and Price.
Ceramic window tinting Blocks over 99% of harmful ultraviolet light to protect vehicle occupants as well as the interior. Total Solar Energy rejection and Infrared Heat blocking up to 85% and cuts from 50% to 62% of the solar heat that enters through the windows in the form of infrare light,
Carbon window tint film delivers rather better results than conventional dyed metal films. Carbon film doesn’t have any metal in it, so the issue with cell phones and radio transmission doesn’t arise when it is used.
Carbon window tint film is dark and matte-finished, so it provides a tasteful option on windows. Carbon Tinting film is about as effective as other varieties in blocking heat: its use will effectively cool inside space while also helping prevent fading to upholstery. Thus the air conditioning will not need to work so hard to cool the space during the summer.
HP series films bring metals and dye together in a single application. By combining the two, many of their benefits are retained while dropping some of the drawbacks. Hybrid films are capable of achieving very little in the way of reflectivity but still brighter despite the dyed film layer that rejects a large portion of outside heat. HP films combine dye and metal to tone down reflectivity and give glass a “smoky” look. It’s worth noting that this type of film has been known to interfere with GPS and radio signals in some cases. This is a Metalized type of tint film, so applications may be limited depending on the vehicle year, make and model.
If you’re primarily interested in the head-turning style change that comes with custom tint, SunTek’s Standard Pro Series engineered with economical dyed charcoal technology.
These series of tints both have a matte, non-reflective charcoal tone when viewed from inside or outside a vehicle and deliver the full benefits that naturally come from being in an area shaded from the sun: added privacy, reduced glare.
